How to get started
When a new user launches the Portfolio platform, the first box you will see is the below 'Getting started' window pops up. The purpose of this is to identify what your goal is for using Portfolio. The options are -
-
Ensure property compliance: This option helps you stay on top of legal requirements and regulations for your properties.
-
Set document reminders: With this feature, you can create reminders for important documents.
-
Add tenancy/tenancies: This option allows you to add and manage tenancy details for each property in your portfolio.
These options cater to different aspects of property management, allowing you to tailor your experience on the platform based on your priorities. Whether you’re focused on compliance, reminders, or tenancy management, each option helps streamline your workflow.
After choosing an option, the platform will prompt you to enter how many units or properties you manage. Following that, you'll be asked to input the addresses of those properties.
If you'd prefer not to enter this information right away, you can click the "Try these later" option at the bottom of the pop-up, which lets you skip this step and return to it at a later time.
This process allows for a flexible setup, letting you dive into the platform at your own pace.
