What is Rent Smart Wales registration?
Under Rent Smart Wales, landlords must register their properties. The requirements vary depending on whether the landlord is directly involved in managing the property.

Landlords not involved in management:
- Must complete a landlord registration.
- Must appoint a licensed agent to handle letting and management activities.

Landlords managing their own properties:
- Must complete a landlord registration.
- Must apply for a Rent Smart Wales licence.
