How does NRLA Portfolio carry out verification?
We need to confirm your proof of identity and proof of property ownership before we can advertise a property for rent. The information/documents you provide will be checked by our Support Agents and if we need any more information we will contact you.
We also need to check the advert description and pictures to make sure that it meets certain standards. We will also need to make sure you have provided a valid EPC for the property at an E rating or higher (unless an exemption applies). You can upload a crop of the EPC rating if you do not wish to add the full EPC report or first page to the advert.
You will be contacted by one of our Support Agents identifying the information or documents required which will give the you the opportunity to provide them.
What if I do not respond to your contact?
If you do not respond within 7 days the listing will be rejected and you will be notified.
What if we reject the property listing and I have paid for advertising?
The payment should be pending until we accept so if we reject the monies should be refunded to you within around 5 working days.
What if I make an amendment to the listing?
Once edited, the NRLA support team will receive a notification that the listing has been amended, we will review the updates and providing the list is acceptable we will approve the listing. If there are any issues, we will contact you to resolve.
How long will the property be listed for?
Once approved the property will be listed for 30 days.
If the property reaches the end of the 30-day period you will be provided with the opportunity to continue to list and pay any additional costs to do so.
We would always recommend if the property listing has not received attention in the 30 day period to tweak the listing and make sure you have considered the rental market in the area etc.
